Talented young batsman Rishab Pant on Tuesday stormed into record books by smashing fastest century in the history of India's first class cricket. Batting against Jharkhand in ongoing Ranji Trophy season, the 19-year-old slammed his ton off just 48 balls and broke the previous record of 56 balls held by two cricketers. The previous record of fastest hundred was in 56 balls, one of which was scored by former Tamil Nadu and India batsman VB Chandrasekhar during the 1998-89 Irani Trophy.
